Axel Toth is a self taught illustrator based in Brighton, United Kingdom. Inspired by literature, history, music and video games, he likes to explore darker themes and inhuman creatures in his artwork. From a young age he was interested in drawing and making comics, but only started pursuing this dream starting from 2015, when the alias ‘Urban Knight’ was born.
Since then his work has been featured in horror magazines, novels, video games, local exhibitions and online communities.
His favourite medium to work with is black ink and watercolour, with an abundance of details, often including skeletal and anatomical elements and supernatural beings.
He regularly exhibits at conventions and local craft markets, designing his own merchandise, including T-shirts, fabric patches and enamel pins among many others.
